    The median price of an existing single family home hit $549,460 in California last month, up 7.4 percent from July 2016, the latest figures from the California Association of Realtors show.
    Home sales were up a smidge from last July – 0.9 percent.

    ORANGE Two people were rescued early Thursday, Aug. 17, after they plummeted off a cliff and into a ravine at Belmont Park, authorities said.

    The cost of renting one’s residence in Southern California has doubled in 17 years — a jump practically twice as fast as the overall cost of living, according to the regional Consumer Price Index.
