    A pharmaceutical company has agreed to a $1.6 million settlement with Southern and Northern California prosecutors over allegations of deceptive advertising of opioid painkillers, Santa Clara officials announced this week.

    SANTA ANA — A woman was arraigned Thursday, May 25, on suspicion of killing a pedestrian while driving under the influence of prescription medications with two children in her car.

    Woodbridge High athletic officials will begin the process soon for replacing Tim Murray, who stepped down Tuesday, May 21, down after 10 seasons as head baseball coach at the school.
    The position is an attractive one. Woodbridge plays its home games off campus at Ryan Lemmon Stadium, which is maintained by the city of Irvine. At most schools, coaches are responsible for field maintenance.
