    Anaheim softball team puts together a winning season to earn CIF playoff berth
    Anaheim’s softball team has had a record-setting year and opens the CIF Division 6 playoffs this week full of optimism under former Cal State Fullerton baseball player Sam Favata.
    “Our team here at Anaheim High School has broken many records this year including most wins ever (15) and a second place (league) finish all alone for the first time in 30 years,” said Favata, who was an infielder on Fullerton’s 1979 team that won the College World Series.
