    Gusts of wind blew into Orange County Friday night, April 28 and into Saturday where they were expected to last until noon.
    The National Weather Service issued a high wind advisory warning that gusts could reach 20 to 30 mph in many places and up to 55 and 66 mph near coastal slopes of the mountains.     Firefighters Saturday morning responded to a fire in the homeless encampment area off the Santa Ana River that runs parallel to the 57 freeway.

    The Ramon Peralta Adobe, Anaheim Hill’s hidden jewel, is offering guided tours on Saturday, May 6.

    Coroner identifies pedestrian who authorities say was killed in Huntington Beach by a suspected DUI driver
    Coroner’s officials have identified a man, who authorities say was killed by a woman suspected of driving under the influence in Huntington Beach, as 55-year-old Paul Stovall.
    Stovall, whose city of residence was unknown, was struck by an SUV driven by 34-year-old Anastasia Hull of Lakewood, authorities said.
    She apparently struck a pole before driving up onto the sidewalk and hitting Stovall, who was walking, authorities said.
