    WESTMINSTER — A 32-year-old Los Alamitos man pleaded not guilty Wednesday to charges of raping an unconscious 17-year-old girl and possessing child pornography.
    Glenn Canyon Childers also denied charges of possessing Adderall, Xanax, methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin, psylocybin and ketamine.
    Los Alamitos police began investigating Aug. 31 a report of an underage teen girl given drugs before being sexually assaulted, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.

    GARDEN GROVE — Garden Grove police Wednesday were investigating a suspected gang-related fatal shooting of a teen and the wounding of another boy.
    The shooting happened just before 8 p.m. Tuesday in the 12500 block of Sandalwood Lane, off Harbor Boulevard and south of Lampson Avenue according to Sgt. Nick Jensen of the Garden Grove Police Department. The victims were 16 and 17 years old, he said.
