    Portales man sentenced for assaulting a police officer
    CLOVIS, N.M. (KRQE) – Stephen Dubay was sentenced on Wednesday for assaulting a police officer. In July 2024, Dubay was driving recklessly, and a Clovis officer tried to pull him over. After getting out and then back into his vehicle, police said Dubay then tried to run over the officer and fled the scene, eventually being arrested in Portales.Roswell police officer accused of domestic violenceDubay was sentenced to four years in prison.
