  ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE)- Craig Neal and his Lobo men’s basketball team can rest easy knowing that they gave the program it’s 14th straight season opening victory Friday night.
  The Lobos outlasted a scrappy Idaho State Bengals team 81 to 70. Lobos junior guard/forward Sam Logwood lead the cherry and silver in scoring with 20 points. Senior forward Tim Williams was second in scoring with 18 points and 11 rebounds.

• Police: 10-year-old dead after possible street racing crash

  ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Police were on the scene of a fatal crash on Friday night.
  Officers arrived to two vehicles upside down on the shoulder of southbound I-25 just south of Montano.
  A witness told police that a white car was driving up to 85-110 MPH and was weaving through traffic. Police were also told that the driver was racing what is believed to be a blue Mustang.
  Police identified the driver of the white car as Xavier A. Nelson.

  ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS 10) – New York State Police say multiple police departments are on scene at Crossgates Mall currently sweeping inside the mall after reports of shots fired.
  Witnesses on scene say the mall is on lockdown and heard shots fired near the Apple store.
  Police are currently evacuating the stores inside the mall, swat teams and air support are on the scene clearing the area.

  ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Police Department is investigating an accident that left one pedestrian dead.
  It happened around 11 p.m. Friday night on Central and 86th street.
  Police said a man was crossing in a non-designated crosswalk area when he was hit by the vehicle. He died on scene.
  Officers said alcohol does not appear to be a factor.

  ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Police are investigating a fatal rollover overnight on I-25 at Moñtano.
  Albuquerque Police Department said two cars may have been racing when one of the cars crashed into another vehicle. One person died at the scene.
  Police closed down Southbound lanes overnight, but it reopened around 7 a.m.
