  ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque police said one of their own was staring down the barrel of a shotgun when he opened fire on a dangerous suspect. It’s the latest in a scary situation that sent a number of officers to the hospital Saturday afternoon.

  DESERT HOT SPRINGS, Calif. (AP) — A tour bus and a semi-truck crashed on a highway in Southern California early Sunday, killing at least seven people and injuring at least 30 others, some critically, the California Highway Patrol said.

  NEW YORK (KRQE) – AT&T is set to buy Time Warner, the owner of the Warner Bros. Movie Studio as well as HBO and CNN, for $85.4 billion in a deal that could shake up the media landscape.
  It is the latest big media acquisition by a major cable or phone company. Deals like Comcast’s 2011 purchase of NBC Universal, all aimed at shoring up businesses upended by the internet.
