  The National Weather Service says Clines Corner sets a June record with 5.09 inches of rain. The central New Mexico unincorporated community in Torrance County sees on average around 1.3 inches of rain in June.

  Lt. Jon Blackmon says police responding to a report of gunfire at about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday found 41-year-old Eric A. Florez fatally wounded from multiple gunshot wounds. Florez then died at the scene.

  ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Police say an infant had to undergo emergency surgery after a crash Tuesday.
  According to the Albuquerque Police Department, the child was being transported by ambulance when it the ambulance was struck by a truck. APD says the truck was traveling west on Mountain through a green light when the ambulance entered the intersection. The ambulance was knocked over and the infant was extracted. The infant was then transported to UNM Hospital.
