  LAS CRUCES (KRQE) – Las Cruces Police are asking for the public’s help finding a bow tie. But it’s not just any bow tie. It’s a work of art dedicated to a former city councilor.
  The roughly 6-foot by 3-foot “memorial bow tie” represents the ties worn by Miguel Silva, a Las Cruces councilor who died in January.

  Police say 32-year-old Marianna Barnes-Lucero was found with her throat cut at a home in Tome.
  Witnesses tell police they saw her boyfriend, 19-year-old Michael Ray Rodriguez with her before she was found dead.

  It happened at their home south of Edgewood on Wednesday night.
  Officials say the woman called 911 saying she had just shot her husband. She claims it was self defense.
