    Amex GBT Adds Apple Business Chat for Midsize Customers, Eyes Additional Segments
    American Express Global Business Travel has enabled U.S. midmarket customers to use Apple Business Chat to communicate with live GBT support agents using the Messages app for iOS. Apple Business Chat now is available for 1,500 midsized GBT corporate clients, with more companies and segments to follow in 2020, Amex GBT said.

The average group block size dropped 0.7 percent to 222.2 rooms, average peak room nights declined 0.3 percent to 74.4 rooms, average event duration dropped 0.8 percent to 3.3 days, and the average booking window dipped 0.3 percent to 184.8 days, according to Cvent's quarterly Group Business Outlook.

    DOT Gives Final Approval to Delta, Air France-KLM, Virgin Atlantic JV
    The U.S. Department of Transportation has granted final approval of antitrust immunity to the joint venture of Delta Air Lines, Air France-KLM and Virgin Atlantic, allowing the carriers to combine their two separate agreements with Delta into a single joint venture.
