    (Telecompaper) Danske Bank said it is shutting down MobilePay in Norway and is negotiating a distribution agreement with rival Vipps, which was spun off by DNB (formerly Den norske Bank) earlier this year. Rival bank Nordea Norway announced separately that it has joined forces with Vipps.

  • LG Electronics posts Q3 sales up 15%, higher operating profit

    (Telecompaper) LG Electronics reported higher third-quarter results in its preliminary report. Revenues are expected to grow 15.2 percent year-on-year and 4.6 percent quarter-on-quarter at nearly KRW 15.22 trillion, and the operating profit is expected to jump 82.2 percent year-on-year to KRW 516.1 billion.
