• Polish LTE auction ends with bids totalling PLN 9.2 billion

  (Telecompaper) In the LTE auction in Poland that has been going on since February, the bidders have offered a total of PLN 9.2 billion for frequency licences in the bands 800 MHz and 2600 MHz, reports Rpkom.pl citing regulator UKE. Compared with similar auctions in Europe, the result is about six times higher, and several times higher than the expected state budget income from the auction.
