  A Raleigh, MS, police officer has died in a wreck in Smith County.Officer E.P. Morris died around noon Thursday.Mississippi Highway Patrol Sgt. Andy West told WTOK the wreck happened Thursday morning. It took place on Highway 18 near Highway 35 in the city limits of Raleigh.Officials say it appears Morris lost control of his police vehicle, which left the road and hit a tree and caught fire.
