  A West Des Moines (IA) Police Department officer was killed Wednesday in a motorcycle crash, reports KETV.Officer Shawn Miller had just left the Dallas County Courthouse where he was testifying in a hit-and-run case.Troopers said a car turned in front of the officer's personal motorcycle.Miller leaves behind a wife and three children.He was an officer for 29 years, and a 21-year veteran of West Des Moines PD.
