    Specialist Phoenix Brickwork has landed two supplier awards from Galliford Try and Torsion Construction.
    Phoenix has been named Sub-Contractor of the Year by Galliford Try for Building East Midlands’ Orders Over £2m acknowledging the brickwork and scaffolding package delivered in Milton Keynes.

    Administrators at Ashville Aggregates and Concrete have confirmed the company owed more than £3m when it ceased trading in February.
    An update posted at Companies House by administrator Leonard Curtis revealed the scale of debts at the firm.

    A van driver miraculously escaped unhurt after a three-lift scaffold collapsed onto his vehicle during rush hour on a busy North London high street.
