• Mace confirmed for £140m Gatwick Airport Pier 6 extension

  Mace has been confirmed as main contractor for the planned £140m extension to Pier 6 at London Gatwick Airport.
  The extension will add a further eight aircraft gates to the existing passenger building, which previously was built with 11 gates connected by the elevated airbridge built by Mace back in 2005.

• Graham takes on ISG £45m Coventry cultural hub job

  Graham has been named as replacement contractor to complete work on the stalled conversion of Coventry’s former city centre IKEA building into a cultural hub
  Construction on the pioneering cultural project was paused last September when the previous contractor, ISG, entered administration.

  Malaysia developer IJM Corporation has bought the historic 25 Finsbury Circus building in the Square Mile with plans for a major £150m overhaul and building extension.

• Fire safety project approval delays hit Van Elle profits
