    Over £600m awarded for decarbonisation projects – full lists
    The Government has allocated £611m to fund the latest tranche of decarbonisation projects in Phase 3c of grant awards.
    Just over 240 heat decarbonisation and energy efficiency projects have gained funding from over 400 project applications for grant.

    Esh Construction has secured the job to deliver a major package of infrastructure improvements to advance the next phase of the Riverside Sunderland regeneration scheme.

    Ridge buys rival consultant Jubb
    Expanding consultant Ridge has acquired civil and structural engineering consultancy Jubb.
    The move will see Jubb’s 100 staff join Ridge and expand its presence in the South West and Wales.
    Ridge has grown rapidly in recent years with turnover up 50% since 2022 to £140m.The Jubb deal will add offices in Bristol, Winchester, Plymouth and Cardiff where its core services include civil engineering, structural engineering, ground engineering, and transport and environmental planning.

    Build to rent specialist Grainger has boosted its development pipeline to £1.4bn after buying two big sites.
    The pipeline now stands at 4,730 new homes following the acquisition of two sites for direct development in existing target locations for the firm.

    Speedy Hire made a loss in the six months to 30 September 2024 due to challenging market conditions and the ongoing cost of its new strategy.
