    Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner has abandoned a review aimed at boosting house building in the Capital, handing a reprieve to London mayor, Sadiq Khan.

    Facilities management specialist Emcor has clinched a deal worth £480m over 10 years to deliver a full suite of FM work for the BBC.

    L&G modular homes amassed loss hits £359m
    L&G is still counting the cost of its abortive foray into modular housing as it closes out the last remaining live projects.
    Latest accounts for the year to December 2023 show the L&G Modular Homes business reported a further £44m pre-tax loss stemming from the decision to close its modular factory near Selby in June 2023 and build out three remaining sites.
    The latest figures take the total reported pre-tax loss amassed over eight years to £359m.

    Wavensmere Homes has received planning approval from City of Wolverhampton Council for its £150m residential-led Canalside South development.

    Modular construction specialist Integra Buildings has posted record results following a string of major contract wins.
    Yorkshire-based Integra saw turnover rise 18% to £50.4m in the year to December 31 2023 as pre-tax profits rose to £6.6m from £2.8m.
