  • Hill submits plan for over 1,600 North London homes

    Developer Hill in joint venture with the United Colleges Group has submitted plans to redevelop a site in North London with 1,675 homes.
    The house builder’s hybrid application includes detailed planning for 1,076 homes delivered across 11 blocks ranging from 4 to 28 storeys on a site in Willesden.
    The remaining 600 homes at the College Green scheme on Dudden Hill Lane are in for outline planning.
    In total, the scheme is expected to cost around £500m to build over several phases.

    Browne bags £130m Thames Water leak-busting contract
    Infrastructure contractor Browne has landed a £130m  deal with Thames Water on its District Metered Area Mains Renewal programme.
    In London, a third of the water mains are over 150 years old and half are over 100 years  old. Some of these mains have significantly deteriorated over time, contributing to high  leakage levels.
    Browne will undertake critical renewal work aimed at reducing leakage, enhancing  water quality, and improving the resilience of the supply network.
