    Bouygues lands £60m Stanmore College rebuild
    Bouygues UK has been appointed by the Department for Education for the £60m rebuild contract at Stanmore College in north London.
    The job under the CF21 Framework will be funded by the DfE’s Further Education Improvement Programme.

    A coroner has issued a safety warning after a road worker was run over while urinating between the axles of a grab lorry on a resurfacing job.
    Dorset coroner Brendan Allen has written to the Health and Safety Executive following an inquest into the death of Thomas Joseph McAuley.

    Industrial shed builder TSL margin hits 3.3% after sales drop a third
    Logistics, industrial and data centre builder TSL has doubled operating margins after deciding to be more selective in its bidding during a challenging year for the shed market.
    A more cautious approach to risk saw revenue fall by just over a third to £297m in the year to December 2023.
    But operating margin rose to 3.3% from 1.5% previously as pre-tax profit jumped by almost half to £9.9m.
    Headcount at the the Gerrards Cross-headquartered business remained stable at around 200 staff.
