  Surrey-based contractor Blenheim House Construction has confirmed it has entered administration just six months after it reported its first loss in 26 years of trading.
  Insolvency specialist Evelyn Partners has taken control of the business, which was founded in 1996 and earned revenue of £87m in 2023, employing over 80 staff.

  Planners in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets have called for more time to consider planning for a residential skyscraper on the Isle of Dogs in London Docklands.

  Wood Transmission and Distribution Limited has been fined £240,000 after a man was left paralysed from the chest down after falling from an electricity pylon during demolition work.
  Gavin Pugh, from Bangor in North Wales, was 35 at the time of the incident and employed as a linesman by Wood Transmission and Distribution Limited. He had been demolishing and replacing electricity pylons in East Staffordshire when he fell more than 30 feet on 6 April 2022.
