    Approved plans to build a 37-storey student tower in Manchester could be scuppered after an anonymous individual made an application for the building to be listed.

    Crest Nicholson set to accept revised Bellway bid
    Crest Nicholson directors said they are“minded to recommend” an improved bid for the house builder by rival Bellway.
    Both firms confirmed today that a revised offer had been made after two previous bids topping out at £650m were rejected.

    Balfour Beatty Civil Engineering Ltd has been awarded the £184.7m contract to dual the A9 between Tomatin and Moy.
