  The Stewart Milne Group collapsed last month owing suppliers and subcontractors £153m.
  The scale of the firm’s debts are revealed in a Companies House update from administrator Teneo which shows the house builder also owed the Bank of Scotland £107.9m.

  Railway pension fund manager Railpen has named Skanska and Morgan Sindall as main contractors for its first two major developments in Cambridge.

  Birmingham City Council has granted a resolution to approve full planning permission to McLaren Property and investor Aventicum Real Estate for the development of Queen’s Hospital Close.

• Morgan Sindall delivers another record year of profit

  Another bumper year at Morgan Sindall’s construction, infrastructure and fit-out operations saw the firm deliver record profits and turnover despite a loss at the property services business.
