    Balfour Beatty offloads stakes in two infrastructure assets
    Balfour Beatty has offloaded two asset stakes from its Infrastructure Investments portfolio for a profit of nearly £26m.
    In the UK it has sold its 49.5% interest in the energy from waste facility at Javelin Park near Gloucester to partner Urbaser Investment, while in the US it sold a 50% interest in the Moretti multifamily housing community in Birmingham, Alabama to Henssler Capital.

    A specialist heavy lifting company has been fined after two men fell from height during the assembly of a crane.
    On 19 January 2021, two employees of Osprey Heavy Lift Limited fell as a result of a partial collapse of a platform on a crane at the Port of Blyth, Northumberland.
