    The Government Property Agency (GPA) has submitted a planning application to Wokingham Borough Council for the new headquarters for the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) at the University of Reading.

    Network Rail is proposing to spend an extra £600m on infrastructure following a review of its investment plans by the Office of Rail and Road.
