    Deanestor has announced a 35% increase in turnover to £19m and a return to pre-pandemic profit levels, according to its latest accounts which have now been released.

    NG Bailey has confirmed a £6.8m hit following the collapse of car battery firm Britishvolt.
    The contractor was an equity investor in the Britishvolt which had plans to build a £300m gigafactory in Northumberland before it went into administration in January.
    The hit added to NG Bailey’s woes for the year ending 3 March 2023 with results showing a pre-tax loss of £25m from a turnover of £532m.

    Midlands and southern housing procurement group, Central Housing Investment Consortium, has relaunched the bid race for a £3.2bn new build framework.

    A man has been banned from being a company director for three years after he dumped 20 tonnes of construction waste contaminated with asbestos on farmland in Northumberland.
