• HS2 contractor commits to zero carbon concrete

  HS2 contractor SCS has signed up to the ConcreteZero initiative.
  The Skanska Costain STRABAG Joint Venture is now commited to buying and using 30% low emission concrete by 2025 and 50% by 2030, with a long-term target of using 100% net zero concrete by 2050.

• Lift-off for construction at Scottish Spaceport

  Construction has started at Sutherland Spaceport on the North coast of Scotland after rocket manufacturer Orbex secured a £14.6m funding deal.
