    Taylor Wimpey has been fined £480,000 after failing to prevent multiple pollution incidents on the River Llwyd and its tributaries in Pontypool.
    The house builder was found guilty of charges relating to breaches in Environmental Permitting Regulations at Cwmbran Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

    Atlas Building & Civil Engineering falls victim to housing slump
    Derby-based Atlas Building & Civil Engineering has become the latest groundwork and drainage specialist to fall victim to the house building slowdown.
    The firm, which operated across the Midlands, south Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, has ceased trading with the loss of around 40 jobs and filed for administration.
