    Bellway Homes will pay £100,000 to environmental charities in the North East as redress for dumping contaminated soil at one of its sites in Northumberland.
    Bellway Homes imported 2,688 cubic metres of contaminated waste soil onto its St Mary’s Park housing site near Stannington in late 2017.

    Three people including a pair of brothers have been jailed, with four more given suspended sentences, for their parts in the handling and sale of in excess of £1m worth of stolen machinery.

    Offsite specialist Eco Modular Buildings Ltd has filed a notice of intention to appoint an administrator.
    The Hull based manufacturer and contractor has been in business since 2011 and has worked with a series of major contractors specialising in the education sector.
