  Mechanical and electrical building services specialist J S Wright has won a £1.5m contract to provide the heating and ventilation services for a new affordable housing scheme in south east London.

  An Inverness company has been fined after a surveyor died from injuries caused by an electrical explosion during an asbestos survey.
  Christopher Wayne Earley, a director at CWE Asbestos Consultants Ltd, was carrying out an asbestos survey on 10 December 2020.

  The Government has awarded £2.1bn of levelling up funding to more than 100 projects around the country.

• Construction worker dies on Graham hospital site

  A 52-year-old construction worker died yesterday after suffering head injuries while helping to build a new hospital in Aberdeen.
