  • Arup profit drops nearly a third despite 10% revenue rise

    Engineering consultant Arup Group has returned to pre-pandemic revenue growth but saw profitability slide over the year to March 2022.
    Group revenues rose 10% over the year to £1.89bn, but this failed to translate into strong pre-tax profit, which fell nearly a third to £37m.
    The rise in revenue at the group was driven by the UK which jumped by 17% to £710m.

  • Galliford Try lands £95m prison contract

    Galliford Try’s Building business has been appointed to a £95m contract to deliver a new custodial facility at HMP Rye Hill.
    The privately run prison is managed by Onley Prison Services Limited and operated by G4S Care & Justice Services Limited, on behalf of the Ministry of Justice.
