    VolkerFitzpatrick has won the £200m job for a major rebuild of junction 9 on the M3 in Hampshire.
    The upgrade project includes the creation of four traffic lanes in each direction of the M3 as well as the provision of a same direction free-flow link between the M3 and A34.

  • Milestone signs ECI deal on £45m Devon road scheme

    Milestone Infrastructure has signed an early contractor involvement deal on the third and final phase of the A382 corridor improvements project in Devon.
    The final stage of the £45m A382 and Jetty Marsh project involves constructing 3km of new carriageway as well as aligning and improving the existing road.
    In addition, the project will enhance cycling and pedestrian facilities around the town of Newton Abbot including building a new footbridge at Forches Cross.

  • 1000 home York garden village plan approved

    The Government has cleared Redrow Homes’ plan to build a near 1000-home garden village on green belt on the outskirts of York.
    Redrow Homes asked inspectors to step in after the city council failed to determine its application back in 2018.
    Now the Department for Levelling up, Housing and Communities has backed the planning inspector’s report and granted outline planning for the new homes, a primary school, convenience store and new country park on land west of Monks Cross Link Road.
