    Build-to-rent developer Platform_ has submitted outline plans for a 1.3m sq ft mixed-use scheme in the expanding South Bank area of Leeds city centre.

    An 18-year-old man has been arrested after a worker died at a construction site in County Durham on Monday.
    Cleveland Police said the teenager has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

    Amey has been sold to UK investment firm Buckthorn Partners LLP.
    Former Spanish owner Ferrovial said the deal was worth £400m for the Amey infrastructure services and consulting business which employs 11,000 people and has a turnover of £1.4bn.

    Algeco UK Ltd has won the contract for the offsite construction of a £27.6m modular school in Northampton.
