    Vital Energi has been awarded a £3.1m contract to design and build the Energy Centre for phase 3 of Berkeley Homes North East London’s Woodberry Down development next to Finsbury Park.
    Berkeley is regenerating the neighbourhood in a 30-year project which will deliver over 5,500 mixed-tenure new homes.

    Construction output falls 1.4% halting 7-month growth spurt
    Monthly construction output dropped 1.4% in June bringing to a shuddering halt a seven-month run of steady growth.

    Designs revealed for £1bn London Blackfriars tower blocks
    A US-Korean development consortium has revealed fresh plans for a major office tower at the southern end of London’s Blackfriars Bridge.
    The developers Hines and the National Pension Service of Korea bought the site nearly a year ago with existing consented for a residential tower of 53 storeys and an office tower of 34 storeys.
