    The Hill Group has acquired Fusion Steel Framing Limited and its 80,000 sq ft advanced manufacturing facility in Northampton.
    Hill said the deal will enhance its capacity and capability in modern methods of construction (MMC) and offsite fabrication alongside its investment in Volumetric Modular Ltd which constructs modular home, bathroom pods and prefabricated utility cupboards.

    Construction software specialist Procore Technologies is now working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) on digital twins.
    The tools AWS IoT TwinMaker provides accelerate the creation of digital twins for buildings, factories, industrial equipment, and production lines.

    Construction plant hirer and supplier AGD has celebrated 20 years as a distributor of RTG piling kit in the UK.
    German manufacturer RTG is a leading supplier of specialist foundation  engineering plant.
    AGD representatives took a recent trip to the firm’s factory in Aresing, Germany and the hirer has just taken  delivery of a brand new RTG RG16T telescopic leader rig for its rental fleet – the 39th RTG imported into this country by AGD.

    Canadian pension fund manager Omers has struck a deal to buy Manchester-based multi-utility contractor Network Plus.
    The fund’s private equity arm Livingbridge sealed the deal yesterday which is rumoured to value the business at around £600m.
