    Track worker killed by train was controller of site safety
    A track worker who was killed by a train near Surbiton station was the Controller of Site Safety on the job.
    A Rail Accident Investigation Branch (RAIB) report into the death of Tyler Byrne in February 2021 said he was one of a team of four carrying out track inspections.

    Hotel developer Zeal Hotels has submitted plans to East Devon District Council to develop a 142-bedroom net zero carbon hotel at Exeter Science Park.
