  Completion of Hinkley Point C has been delayed by another year as the cost of building the giant nuclear plant is estimated to have risen by an extra £3bn.

• ISG starts £28m duo of Yorkshire leisure centre jobs

  ISG is starting building work on two leisure centres in Yorkshire for Harrogate Borough Council and Alliance Leisure.

• HS2 workforce surges to 25,000 jobs milestone

  HS2’s workforce increased by more than 2,000 in the last quarter, with the construction of Britain’s new railway now supporting a record 24,800 jobs.
