    Amey Utilities sold and renamed Avove
    Private equity investor Rubicon Partners has completed the purchase of Amey Utilities and renamed the operation Avove.
    The deal completed this week for the water and power maintenance services contractor which counts Yorkshire Water and Severn Trent among its main clients.Avove will retain the same structure and management team as when owned by Amey but will appoint a new managing director.

    The Fragrance hotel group has switched to Willmott Dixon in the south west following the collapse of its previous favoured builder Midas Construction.

    Associated British Ports has named its 11 partner contractors to deliver an ambitious building programme at its 21 ports around the country.

    FM Conway scoops City of London highways upkeep
    FM Conway has clinched a five-year term contract with the City of London Corporation to provide highway improvements and maintenance works.
    It replaces incumbent contractor JB Riney in July on a deal estimated to be worth £10m a year, with an option to extend for a further five years
