  Principal contractor Siemens Energy and subcontractor VolkerInfra have been fined a total of £1.08m after an employee’s retina was damaged by an explosion caused by a cable strike during construction works at a substation.

  West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust has submitted outline plans to build a major new hospital in Bury St Edmunds.
