    Gilbert Ash wins £22m Brighton College arts centre
    Gilbert-Ash, has been appointed main contractor on a £22m project to develop a building for the performing arts at Brighton College.
    The contractor will start on site later this month with the scope of works including the demolition of existing buildings and the construction of a 400-seat multifunctional theatre, dance and drama studio.
    It also includes classrooms for English and Drama and a social space for gatherings.Construction is due to complete in February 2024.

    The Environment Agency is calling up Tier 2 contractors for a market engagement exercise to set out procurement plans for its £275m River Thames flood alleviation scheme.
    The search for a main construction partner is due to start in summer of 2023 with contract award anticipated in early 2025.
