Rubio Loses His Voice -- But Not Before He Said This
RUSH: Now people are ringing their hands talking about the depths to which the Republican campaign has sunk.  "Why, why, we can't believe it has sunk to this kind of bathroom parlor humor.  This is so beneath everyone.  Why in the world is this happening," and so forth.  "The Republican campaign has been reduced to stand-up comedy routines" and so forth. Well, whatever it is, it has people fired up.  It has people reacting like they never have.

RUSH: What he's referencing last week, after the debate, a whole bunch of people said, "Where's that been?  How come these guys haven't been going after Trump all this time?  Where's that been?  They could have taken Trump out if Rubio and Cruz --"  And the answer to the question was, all this time they still think that something's gonna happen to Trump and he's not gonna be there.

RUSH:  All I can tell you is when people come on the program, I'm polite to them.  At the same time, I am not part of the group of people that tries to eat up, chew up, and spit out members of my own team.  So I looked at the interviews with Rubio as an opportunity to have him explain this to me.  I knew what I thought about it.  I was pretty confident that I was right about it. But I wanted to hear what his explanation was.

Preposterous! New York Times Implies I'm Part of a Pro-Amnesty Conspiracy
RUSH: On Sunday, the New York Times had a story that is an attempt, was an attempt to drive a wedge between me and those of you in my audience.  The attempt was to imply, because they cannot state it, the attempt here was to imply that I am a secret, clandestine operative for the Gang of Eight bill and amnesty.  The story was written in such a way as to make it look like I am a secret supporter and that I have kept relevant information from you and that I am secretly trying t
