Joseph Earl Kunkel, 79, of Bentonville died Thursday, March 24, 2016, in Bentonville. He was born Jan. 16, 1937, in Newport, the son of Karl Frederick Kunkel and Ida Elnora Johnson Kunkel. Kunkel attended the University of Arkansas and earned his bachelor of science degree in civil engineering in 1959. He was president of Kunco Inc. and General Building Corp. Philip H. Schneider peacefully left this life Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at 5:45 p.m. Philip was born Dec. 15, 1938, in Paris to Eberhard Henry and Gertrude Mary (Ashour) Schneider. Philip resided in Subiaco the entirety of his lifetime, with the exception of his time spent in service with the U.S. Navy. He was a graduate of Subiaco Academy in 1956.
