Rita Elizabeth Tolley, 38, of Fort Smith passed away Feb. 7, 2016, in Fort Smith. She was born Oct. 1, 1977, in Fort Smith to Phillip Lloyd and Shirley Ann Allen Wood. Rita had a deep and profound relationship with her God through prayer and the keeping of her faith regardless of what life might have thrown her way. She began her Christian faith at Harvest Time Tabernacle and later became a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. Rita was a graduate of Northside High School. She attended UAFS

Our beloved Mother, Martha Jo Queen, went home to heaven Feb. 8, 2016. She was born in Gainesville, Ga., on March 23, 1936, or sometime around then as her birth certificate was blown away in a tornado shortly after birth. Our mother grew up in Rabun County, Ga. She was the daughter of Lamon Tyra Queen and Alice Juanita Oliver Queen. She lived part of her early years in the county jail as her daddy was Rabun County sheriff for 16 years.
