  The Witness grossed more than $5 million USD in revenue—and sold "substantially more" than 100,000 units—over its first week across all platforms, developer Jonathan Blow announced today. The developer hinted at the game's sales numbers last week, but posted a more detailed account on The Witness blog.

  Nintendo’s Q3 financials reveal Wii U hardware sales are up and amiibo are selling exceptionally well.
  As of December 31, 2015, 12.6 million Wii U units have been sold, an increase from Q2’s total of 10.73 million. The uptick in hardware sales could be attributed to strong numbers from Splatoon, which has sold 4.06 million since it launched last May. In a complaint filed on Monday in Manhattan federal court, Solid Oak Sketches LLC said Take-Two should pay damages for incorporating eight tattoo designs, which the plaintiff had licensed from various artists, into its NBA 2K16 game.
