    It was a full house at SVHS as the Lady Braves and Braves hosted their counterparts from Jackson Hole High School.
    The varsity girls kept the Lady Broncs winless on the season with a 54-15 final that was out of hand early on. Savannah Lucero finished with 20 points, Kenadee Jenkins finished with 14 and Shania Warren nearly pulled off the double-double with ten points and nine rebounds.
    Star Valley improved to (13-6) overall with the win and will play the regular-season finale in Pineda

    One of the more intense rivalries in Wyoming high school sports will write another chapter as Jackson Hole High School travels to Afton to face the SVHS basketball team.
    The Lady Braves (12-6) will be looking to add another win to a 13-game winning streak in the series against a Lady Broncs (0-18) team still searching for their first win of the season. The Star Valley varsity girls defeated Jackson 70-42 in Teton County back on December 22.

    Following a few weeks of above average temperatures that have brought valley rain and mountain snow to Star Valley, temperatures dropped just enough for 4-5 inches of snow to accumulate on the valley floor in just a few hours Tuesday evening.
    Video footage provided by The Lone Stick on their Facebook page shows the storm as it rolled through the valley and the sun disappeared.

    The Wyoming Highway Patrol has implemented a new pilot program utilizing “slick top” patrol cars in hopes of increasing highway safety across Wyoming. The five new vehicles will be patrolling Wyoming with one of the cars headed to each of the five WHP districts across the state.
