    FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The Concordia football team is heading to the state championship for the first time in program history.
    The (12-2) Cadets defeated Garrett 56-42 in a soggy semi-state on Friday evening to punch their ticket to Lucas Oil Stadium. There they will face (13-1) Lawrenceburg in the 3A state championship Saturday at approximately 3:30PM.
    Lawrenceburg defeated Brownstown Central 41-40 in semi-state. This is the Tigers first trip to state in 31 years.
