Op 5 augustus gaat een SpaceX rakettrap inslaan op het maanoppervlak

Op 5 augustus staat de maan van de aarde op het punt geraakt te worden door een door de mens veroorzaakte, snelle inslag van een geïdentificeerd vliegend object: een gebruikte bovenste trap van een SpaceX Falcon 9. Deze gebeurtenis zal leiden tot een letterlijke stofwolk boven het maanlandschap. Die bovenste trap van de Falcon 9 is een overblijfsel van de lancering waarmee de Blue Ghost-1-lander van Firefly op 15 januari 2025 naar de maan werd gestuurd.
