    Market Mall, located at 275 Second Line West, has reopened after closing on the weekend due to snow volumes on its roof.
    Property owner, Royal Courtyards Property Management, says “all measures’ have been taken and there are no “hazardous conditions” to those inside or outside the building.

    Hey Mother Nature, many of Sault Ste. Marie snow dumps are full and the public works department is hoping spring is on the way.
    But ideal spring weather would have to include sunny but slightly cooler, windy days so that the mounds of snow that have blanketed the city do not result in localized flooding.

    The Ontario government has terminated its $1.4-million funding agreement with the City of Sault Ste. Marie to support its FutureSSM project.
    Tom Vair, deputy CAO of community development and enterprise, received a letter from Energy Minister Greg Rickford in his capacity of Chair of the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corp., last week, stating funding will be terminated as of March 31.
