  The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says Sofina Foods Inc. is recalling Janes brand Pub Style Chicken Burgers from the marketplace due to possible salmonella contamination, including one in B.C.

  Health officials have issued an alert for North Surrey because of a “significant increase” in drug overdoses in the area overnight.
  The Fraser Health Authority, which issued the alert early Saturday morning, doesn’t yet have a tally on the number of overdoses, or whether the patients all took the same drug.
  However, given that there has been a significant increase, the authority is warning all drug users in the area to take extra precaution.
